Learners

Each person you are teaching has a Learner profile. Learner data feeds directly into the AI Lesson Generator to produce age-appropriate, context-aware lesson plans.

Creating a Learner

Go to Learners in the sidebar and click Add Learner. The following fields are available:

Field	Purpose
Name	Display name used throughout the app
Age	Used by the AI to calibrate complexity
Learning Style	e.g. "visual", "kinaesthetic", "reading/writing"
Baseline Knowledge	What the learner already knows in general
Strengths	Subject areas or skills where they excel
Weaknesses	Areas that need extra support
Default Persona	Which Teaching Persona to use by default for this learner

Editing a Learner

Click on a learner's name in the list to open their profile. Use the Edit button to update any field.

Exporting Learner Data

Learner profiles, achievements, and related records are included in the Obsidian vault export. See Data Export for details on running the export command.

Deleting a Learner

Deleting a learner also removes all their associated achievements and AI interaction logs. This action is permanent — export the learner first if you need to retain records.
